Sakirin Mosque

Zeynep Fadillioglu, an internationally renowned interior designer, is the first woman to ever design a mosque in Turkey. Located in Istanbul, Sakirin Mosque is absolutely gorgeous. It has the perfect balance between the past and present, between east and west. I especially love the asymmetrical chandelier! Fadillioglu' believes that being a woman, she can offer a different and more aesthetically pleasant experience:

"I care more about the aesthetical side, I care more about the public, I try to give a place to be really left with God, rather than creating a symbol."

Foozeball a la Barbie

'Barbiefoot', created by French designer Chloe Ruchon, combines the iconic doll with table football. By combing these two very different worlds, the male dominant world of table football with the pink femininity of Barbie, Ruchon created a design that broke stereotypical labels and clichés.

Ergo, 'Barbiefoot' :

Imagine Chandler and Joey trying to settle their differences over a game of 'Barbiefoot' :D

20 Types of Art Students by Chuck Dillon

Chuck Dillon has been teaching art for the past ten years at the Hussian School of Art in Philadelphia. And throughout those years, he's come by many different types of art students. So he decided to create a ketch and categorize each one! Theses sketches are hilarious! I absolutely love the fact that as an art student, I can honestly say that I know someone that fits each category :) I think I'm a small mix of a couple of those students (Snob/Fine Art, Brownnoser, Stressed... ) which one/s are you?

Here are Dillon's 20 Types of Art Students sketches (click to enlarge):

Post-Its Mania

Who's not addicted to Post-Its? They're colorful, convinent and they can stick to anything ( well almost anything ). I've got myself some in the shape of my first initial :) Anyways as I was browsing the internet the other day, I came across this really cool blog named P.I.P ( The Post It Project ). Created by Andy Ristaino, it's a blog dedicated to Post-Its doodles! Does anyone actually go to Work and work these days? I wonder what his boss thinks of the blog :) How do YOU kill time at the office?

Anyways here are some of my favourites:
